To Cherating
We had an early start and then up and out to catch the fast boat to Kuala Besut - smooth seas but zero visibility - and then a bus down to Cherating. All went smoothly enough but when Lonely Planet describes the place as melancholy they’re not joking. You see the place advertised often enough but it’s just so quiet.
Atleast that meant we could easily get a nice place on the beach for a good price but it would be nice if there was a bit more atmosphere.

Hi Sarah
HAPPY BIRTHDAY… We will be thinking of you tomorrow. We are enjoying reading your blogs…its obvious you are having a wonderful time.
I have had a busy holiday with Mum..we have been on the go all the time, and I am going home to have a rest,
Zoe and I have bonded, though she isnt too impressed with the grooming sessions I have been giving her.
Mum should be able to send you messages as I have patiently tried to show her how simple it is but who knows!!
Byee Love to everyone

Well its your actual birthday now and we have the chance to log on and say it for real…. HAPPY BIRTHDAY…!!! I hope you’ve done something special and really enjoyed it. Sharon and Max the cav also say Happy Birthday.
We are having a great time here with Sharon and Vince (and Max), the weather is divine, and we are getting on famously. We are off to see the Americas Cup harbour tomorrow. The airport is being extended in readiness so chaotic right now!
Cant wait to read the next instalment…
