The phone rang at 5.45 - time to get up. At 6.20 the minibus arrived at the resort to whisk us back to Malaysia. It was tipping down with rain and continued to do so until almost lunch time. We stopped along the way to allow the driver to catch up with family and friends!!! [...]
Having found ourselves in a divine resort we decided we needed a day there to appreciate it. With my feet still very sore from the rock incident I welcomed the chance to relax. Took a day tour (horrifically expensive) around James Bond Island and the village on the water. More commercial than last time but still really good. Rained in the afternoon but luckily we had to do the last two stops via mini van anyway.
Back to the resort for a swim and met a really nice family [...]
