Chill out day in Ao Nang
Having found ourselves in a divine resort we decided we needed a day there to appreciate it. With my feet still very sore from the rock incident I welcomed the chance to relax. The kids hit the pool and learnt to dive beautifully from the side and to do snorkelling dives. The Crawfords from the night before were hanging around too and some other families arrived so it was a really nice family atmosphere around the pool. Steve (the Dad) is a geotechnical engineer so he was able to talk to Jeremy extensively on Volcanos and career options.
At lunchtime we hit the streets in search of thai pancakes but alas, the food vendors tend to be Muslim and Ramadan has started so no thai pancakes.
In the evening we returned to the restaurant and then packed the kids off to the Crawfords room to watch DVDs while we had grown up time.
